We pause today to give thanks for the many blessings we are afforded. As we all lead such busy lives, we often get caught up in the things we want, and overlook the things we already have. it can be difficult to slow down and take time to show gratitude.
We are thankful for our good health. We take care to nourish our minds and bodies, to keep strong and focused as we move through our lives.
We are thankful for our families. Unconditional love and support from parents, siblings and relatives provide us with strength, confidence and courage to continue moving forward.
We are thankful for our friendships. Through thick and thin, friendships allow us to share good times and endure difficult times, and keep us grounded.
We are thankful for our place we call home. A warm bed, a place to feel comfortable and at ease, and let go of the stresses of everyday life and engage in self-care.
We are thankful for the food that we receive. We do not go hungry, but appreciate the bounty of food we receive, and show appreciation for its sources.
We show thanks and gratitude for all that we have today, and wish that the thanksgiving spirit continue to shine throughout our lives every day!
