Manor of Hope is a drug rehab support program serving the Stamford Connecticut area.
Heroin death rates in Connecticut have risen to 2nd in the nation.
The opioid crisis that has gripped the country is killing three people a day in the state of CT – many of them young, leaving their parents, families, and friends grieving
A new report just issued by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner shows that accidental drug intoxications caused 917 deaths in Connecticut in 2016, an increase of 188 people, or 25%, over those killed by drugs in 2015.
Throughout Connecticut and including Greenwich Connecticut, from Old Greenwich to Riverside and points north the number of drug overdoses is increasing at an alarming rate.
The diseases of opioid addiction, heroin addiction, fentanyl addiction, prescription drug addiction, and alcoholism are skyrocketing. Accidental drug intoxication deaths in Connecticut have spiked over the past 5 years:
- 357 in 2012
- 495 in 2013
- 568 in 2014
- 729 in 2015
- 917 in 2016
There were more than 2.5 times as many deaths in 2016 than there were in 2012.
We are seeing these statistics in the news on a daily basis. If you are trying to find out more information about how to rehabilitate someone who is having an issue with addiction or has been in and out of drug rehabs in CT over and over again with no real lasting effects, our program takes a different approach.
Unfortunately many rehabilitation programs and halfway houses don’t offer a long-term solution to the disease of addiction. To make a lasting difference, rehabilitation requires extensive time and therapy, and care. The Manor of Hope nurtures its residents and provides a therapeutic community for this long-term recovery. We specifically focus our program on helping young men battle their disease. We are located within driving distance of Connecticut.
Our leadership team sets us apart. We are passionate, experienced, and dedicated to transforming the young men who stay at our post-detox facility into healthy, happy, and addiction-free members of the community.
