As we continue this quarantine, we at the Manor feel lucky to be surrounded by vast open spaces and opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.
This past week, fishing season officially started in PA – which is great for our guys!
Most of the Manor guys really enjoy fishing and some of them are avid fishermen. Licenses were purchased on the very same day the season started, and the guys already went fishing at some local spots. We will continue to enjoy frequent fishing trips as long ay it is healthy and safe for us to do so.
We have also been taking advantage of the good weather and have enjoyed plenty of time outside. Some of these activities have included playing cards in our back patio, having group meetings by our garden, and sitting on our Zen Garden to meditate and relax.
Biking the local trails also continues to be a preferred activity. A few of the guys go out on the bikes consistently, as well as keeping all the social distancing guidelines in mind.
This last week we also enjoyed a nice walk along the Phoenixville canal. We spotted a Blue Heron, and several turtles along the three-mile walk.
The manor of Hope Team continues to work hard to keep our residents safe during these uncertain times, while providing them with meaningful days.
Stay safe!
