“New beginnings are often disguised as painful endings.”
– Lao Tzu
With the dog days of summer behind us, we welcome cool weather, rain, and the good fortune to experience the changing seasons.
The hot, dry days of summer tested our care and attention, but our diligence paid off. Our garden rewarded our hard work with a bounty of fruits, vegetables, flowers, and herbs.
We lovingly cling to the summer tomatoes, knowing that their days are numbered. Fall plantings of spinach, arugula, melons, and sweet potatoes are thriving, and we look forward to the fall season, and all that it has to offer.
