Manor of Hope sells raw honey from our apiary that is maintained by our residents & staff.

Welcoming the Bees
In 2021, our campus welcomed its first two beehives and so we began our journey into the exciting world of beekeeping!! The bees pollinate our organic gardens which provide us with fresh, organic flowers, herbs, fruits, and vegetables. Residents learn about the vital role bees play in our ecosystem while enjoying the fruits (or should we say honey) of their labor.

From Hives to Honey
Our apiary has grown to 12 hives, complete with a state-of-the-art processing facility. Here residents get hands-on; extracting, bottling, and selling our honey. It’s a rewarding process that challenges them intellectually as they build skills for their future.

More Than Just Honey
The Manor’s apiary is just one example of our commitment to unique and enriching activities. We strive to learn and grow with our residents, and to share in new experiences that can be fun, educational, and beneficial to our community and environment.
