The Manor of Hope Wellness Center is finally open. It has been a dream of our founder and CEO Steve Killelea for a few years, and it’s finally here.
The first floor consists of a gym and a game room. The gym is equipped with multiple weights, a solo flex machine, and cardio equipment. It also has a TV where the guys can watch training videos, play music, etc; as they work out.
The game room side has a tv where the guys can watch movies or play video games, a ping pong table, a pinball machine, a foosball table, and a dartboard.
A full yoga studio will be finished within the next few months on the second floor.
The Manor of Hope Wellness Center is a testament to our team’s commitment to providing our residents with meaningful and healthy activities while having fun in recovery. It took a lot of work to make all of the necessary improvements on the building to make it a comfortable (and heated!) building. Take a look at the construction of the Wellness Center here.
The Wellness Center is essentially important during this difficult time. All of our local gyms and fitness facilities are closed for the time being, but we still have a place where our guys can workout, and keep getting healthy.
As always, working out is an important part of our daily schedule, and having the wellness center open, has allowed continuity of the things that we regularly do.
We cannot go to the local gym at this time, but the guys are keeping fit and staying healthy, working out at 9 am from Monday through Friday.
The Manor of Hope staff is working really hard to keep our residents healthy during this time of COVID-19. We continue to follow strict quarantine rules and CDC guidelines to ensure the safe at this time.
Stay safe and healthy!
