A parent of a resident at the Manor of Hope talks about how her son has changed since coming to the Manor of Hope

Julia, a parent of one of the residents at the Manor of Hope sits down to talk about how as a parent she has hope now since coming to the Manor of Hope.

From the video:

We were at the point of thinking… is he ever going to be able to live on his own? Is he ever going to get to the other side of this?

Sober living was loosely structured and was too much free time and he was not ready for that yet.

We have hope for the first time

Pulling up to the Manor of Hope when we dropped Parker off was like bringing him to stay with family.

I think it works this time because they are not just addressing the addiction; they’re addressing the physical, the mental, the emotional, the nutritional, all those sides of it are being covered.

We have hope for the first time that we’re going to get there, because it’s very hard for a parent to know how you are going to get from A to B because you can’t see that path at all! And that’s what the Manor of Hope has given us — the path.
