Saturday marked one of the most special days of the year for the Manor of Hope community. Our holiday celebration is an opportunity for families to gather and share food, gifts and time together.
The event began with appetizers and mingling at the graduate house where strangers quickly became friends. Nearly 50 guests then participated in a white elephant gift exchange.
Everyone stayed in good spirits despite having their gifts stolen away (sometimes repeatedly)! After all the gifts were opened the party moved to downtown Phoenixville which was buzzing with holiday events and shopping.
Our families made their way to the historic Colonial theater for a showing of the classic holiday favorite “It’s a Wonderful Life.” For those who had never been to the Phoenixville Landmark, they were wowed by the beauty and charm of it. All would agree it’s the perfect setting for such a classic movie.
After the movie, it was time for dinner just down the street at Sage restaurant. The town was lit with holiday lights and you could feel the holiday cheer. Families ate and laughed together for hours while enjoying a delicious Mediterranean feast.
As the night ended many expressed gratitude for the opportunity to celebrate together and hope for the new year to come…
