This past weekend the manor took a break from the great outdoors of Pennsylvania enjoy some culture and history in Washington DC.
The weekend adventure began with a visit to the national mall and the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. The newly renovated Dinosaur exhibit and geology wing were big hits.
A night trip to the monuments including the Lincoln and Vietnam memorials was also a highlight.
Before leaving on Sunday the guys walked the grounds of the World War 2 memorial to pay respects to their grandfathers who had fought.
The Manor of Hope will look forward to future trips to Washington which always inspires us to strive to serve others and work towards the common good.
